I write about joy and kindness, hope and healing, and tell people to be kind to one another. But you know what? It doesn't amount to a pile of diablo sauce packets if you're not kind to yourself. Take a break and rest as long as you need. Getting burnt out doesn't make anything better.

I am so happy for you that you found your way to yourself named Mick. Thanks for letting your readers know! FWIW your posts on twitter started me writing--just for myself for now but a TBQ submission is the goal. And my TBQ Hero of the Poets mug is my morning coffee mug.
